Regardless of there being no change in his condition, former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela has been released from the hospital. He remains in critical condition and is still sometimes unstable, but he has been sent home to Johannesburg to continue his treatment.
In a brief statement, hospital personnel say that his house ” has been reconfigured to allow him to receive intensive care there” and if there is a medical complication or “health conditions that warrant another admission to hospital in future, this will be done.”
Mandela has been in the hospital located in the capital city of Pretoria for just about three months now after he suffered from a recurring lung infection. I will keep you posted on his condition as more details become available.
