A little over a month after traumatic skiing accident, Formula One champion Michael Schumacher is being brought out of his medically induced coma. Doctors that have been treating the seven time world champion announced in a statement Thursday that they would be reducing the sedation medications in an attempt to start the “waking up” process.Michael Schumacher Being Brought Out Of Medically Induced ComaIt has been said that the entire process could take some time and the doctors will not be offering anymore updates. The family has asked for privacy during this time, but have also express their appreciation for all the support and sympathy offered by his fans worldwide.

On December 29th, 2013, Schumacher was on a skiing trip when one of his skis hit a rock and he fell. While falling he hit his head on a rock and suffered a traumatic brain injury and has been in a medically induced coma ever since. I will keep you posted on any further developments.

  1. This is Good news! Looking forward on seeing Michael Schumatcher ride his car again, or even hearing that his awake is more than enough. After his tragic skiing accident, there are still many things to be thankful for.

    • Well from what I read last night, he seems to be responding well in his tests and they are very optimistic about his recovery. I hope to have more information soon so I can update you all.
